Maris Moon is an American producer, songwriter and DJ with a career spanning more than two decades. He got his start in California’s underground dance music scene in the early nineties and eventually gained notoriety in the UK’s legendary hard house and techno scene around the turn of the century. He has performed at clubs and festivals in 40 states and 7 countries, sharing the stage with artists including Carl Cox, DJ Dan, Crystal Castles, Judge Jules, Meat Katie, Lisa Lashes and Moby. Maris enjoys making music in many different genres and has produced vinyl and digital releases on various labels and under various aliases.
Over the course of his career, Maris has held successful residencies in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, London and San Diego. He is best known for his talents as a DJ, earning accolades which include once being described by a writer for Muzik magazine as having dropped “The best set ever played at Camden Palace. Period.” In his free time, Maris supports charities that provide drinking water solutions to undeveloped countries and serves as a committee member on the San Diego Domestic Violence Council.
